More than a dozen members of a state labor union on Thursday marched around the Adler Building downtown to protest a cleaning contractor's alleged violations of several state labor laws.
Service Employees International Union, Local 1877, organizers stood by Adler Building's janitorial staff of four in calling Customized Cleaning Services, of Exeter, on slashing hourly wages by nearly $2, eliminating health insurance benefits, sick days and vacation pay, said SEIU Director Aida Cardenas.
