Boeing extends final pact offer to 300 Tennessee employees

The Chicago-based designer of aircraft, defense and space products said the contract is being offered to about 300 employees at its Oak Ridge, Tenn., plant that manufactures subassemblies for commercial airplanes, including flight deck consoles for 737, 747, 767, 777 and 787 jets. The company is offering a 5 percent wage increase this month and 3 percent increases in Aug. 2007 and Aug. 2008.
